RAF Veteran Killed In Motorbike Accident

A fatal motorbike accident has killed a RAF veteran. The 36 year old male was riding his Honda VFR motorbike around 4pm when the accident occurred, causing his death.

Police have said it is believed that the motorbike veered on to the wrong side of the road when he collided with an Audi motor vehicle. The motorcyclist who served with the RAF in Afghanistan and Iraq suffered severe head injuries and died at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Audi motor vehicle were treated for whiplash, shock and minor cuts.

Tributes have been made to the veteran. Investigations are ongoing and an appeal has been made for witnesses.
